Welcome to version 5.13

Welcome to version 5.13 of the IMPULSE virtual world client. This is a major release with lots of new features:

• Immersive VR support.
• Collisions detection.
• Interactive objects.
• World and user lighting.
• Rich object content.
• In-world text chat.
• World homepages.

Please note that older virtual world client versions are no longer compatible!

What's new in version 5.13.3

Version 5.13.3 is a transitional release that adds fixes and improvements for the IMPULSE Athens Hackathon, June 2026:

• World lighting can be configured and a user light is automatically activated.
• Objects can be configured to display content on interaction or proximity.
• Objects can be configured to start audio playback on interaction or proximity.
• Objects can be configured as invisible, collidable and/or locked.

Please note that subsequent versions may be released and need to be downloaded to address issues in this version as such are identified.
